TITLE:  Trouble
AUTHOR: Non Pratt
PUBLISHER:  Walker Books Ltd
RATING:  5/5

A boy. A girl. A bump. Trouble. Hannah’s smart and funny. She’s also fifteen and pregnant. Aaron is new at school and doesn’t want to attract attention. So why does he offer to be the pretend dad to Hannah’s unborn baby? Growing up can be trouble but that’s how you find out what really matters.

"Trouble," is one of those novels. It's one of those novels that have you hooked from the first page, gasping in surprise, until the very last page. I adored the cover art as soon as I picked it up, which would definitely appeal to the teenage audience. As well as the book having elements of comedy in it, it also has lots of morals and life lessons in it, that every single teenager on the planet should read- the novel tackles important issues in a very clever way.

Hannah is a smart, savy 15 year old, growing up in the harsh reality we all call adolescence. She likes having a good time- but she doesn't really enjoy all the male attention, as much as all of her friends think she does. When Hannah makes a stupid mistake, she could end up holding the baby no one wants...

Aaron is the new boy on the block: who has had a smoky past- and wants a fresh start. He prefers to keep his feelings to himself. But- when Aaron and Hannah collide in an unexpected way- what will they both have to decide? Will promises be broken?

This novel really delves deep into gritty teenage life, executing the pressures of growing up perfectly. It isn't a love story- it is much more than that- it is honest, touching, and just absolutely brilliant. What I love most of all about, "Trouble," is that it doesn't shy away from the teenage issues no one wants to talk about- it is very authentic. I rate it 5/5 hoots: it really stands out on any shelf for me.
